Penny at “Another Dilettante” has tagged me for the “8 Random Things About You,” meme.
Her list and my list are worryingly similar.
1) I am very strongly left-sided. Not only do I use my left hand for preference, but also my left foot, left eye, and left ear.
2) Of the six people in my generation on my mum's side of the family, three of us are left handed.
3) Like Penny, I very rarely wear trousers, because I can never get them to fit. I believe I own one pair of jeans.
4) I'm a lay member of a religious order, the Order of Preachers (Dominicans). This does not mean I'm becoming a nun.
5) For my Summer Project, I'm walking the Thames Path, in stages, starting at the source and walking down to the Thames Barrier. I do the first stage next Saturday.
6) My favourite subjects at school were history and English. I'm now training to be an accountant. I can't help but feel I took a wrong turn somewhere.
7) My favourite colour is purple.
8) I appear to be developing quite the orchid habit. I have three of various varieties and colours taking up space on the bathroom shelf. One of them has a tiny rubber duck balanced on a leaf.
