for another X-ray, to check my foot is healing properly. I hope it is. Currently the entirety of my prayer life seems to consist of "pleasepleasepleasegod don't let them decide to stick my leg in plaster tomorrow, pleasepleasepleaseamen." I think I'm working on the principle that if I nag God enough, He'll give in.
But really - have you ever tried using public transport in London when you're on crutches? I have. It's not fun. It's even less fun than you think it might be, with added inconvenience for good measure.
Plus you get cold toes, going round on crutches in the rain.
