Am I being unreasonable in being annoyed that the borough's traffic wardens routinely park on double yellow lines?
Picture the scene:
It's end of shift time, and the (council-branded) minibus pulls onto double yellow lines to wait to pick up all the traffic wardens to take them back to whichever cold and noisome cavern they call home. There's a few of them, so this minibus is there for some time as various wardens turn up, laughing and joking and completely ignoring the fact that their minibus is illegally parked.
By parking where they park (oh look, double yellow lines) they turn that particular road into a death-trap, because nobody heading into town can see past their wretched bus to cross the road safely.
I regard this as completely unacceptable behaviour, but I'm always leery of turning into the Mad Cat Woman of Rosamundiville and cackling is only a matter of time, I fear, so I'd like some perspective. Letter to councillor time, or sigh and let it go, and hope nobody gets squashed?
