20 min!!

Got into my car, drove down the driveway, then stopped the car, got out, tried front door (storm door locked from inside) went through the back door, found pizza coupon, ordered pizza from nearby pizza place, and it will be ready in 20 minutes! just 20 minutes! if i tried to make my own pizza, it would involve an hour shopping trip, then travel time home, bring groceries in, get out pots/pans (well - actually pots/pans not necessary for pizza... just a cookie sheet or pizza stone), make sure to heat up oven, cook time, and then - FINALLY - it would be ready.

calling and ordering a pizza from Pizza Hut (with a coupon) makes eating pizza A) affordable and B) time efficient. For example, instead of going through 100 hoops to eat pizza, i now have 15 minutes to share my pizza story with you fine people.

my car is still at the top of the driveway. i was planning to go out and "find" somethign to eat. my refrigerator looks a little like Mother Hubbard's Cupboard. at the top of the driveway i remembered a pizza coupon. yae.

THE JOKE! Ok, Bimble... this is for you. (remember, I work with young children)

So...put your hands up by your eyes as though you're looking through binoculars... and very quietly say "See my big and scary eyes... Look out for a big surprise..." and then...at just the right moment, you say "BOO!!!!"

(I've scared several adults with this very-fun-joke. it's so cute to see the kids try - some of them are very good! if anyone tries this joke at home, please let me know - today i scared a father, custodian, and another speech therapist... i guess it's an even better joke when the person trusts you - ha!!)

Was planning to stay late at work and get many things crossed off my list of things to do. HOWEVER, since my brain shut off around 3:30 this afternoon, and it was getting close to 5:30, I decided it would be best to head home, have dinner, watch some mindless television (and have a drink, too), and come in bright and early tomorrow... or bright and right-on-time.
:)

I'm thinking the pizza will be coming out of the oven soon... must go rescue it and bring it home, change into comphy clothes, get a blanket and snuggle on the couch in front of tv. there is usually good television on thursday nights :)

have a good one - tomorrow is FRIDAY! whoooo-hoo :)

p.s. i'm showing my condo to another potential buyer on Saturday - she's pre-approved and everything...hope it goes well.
