1) write long overdue thank you notes to m and a and...there's one more. hopefully i'll remember before putting the stationary away. [UPDATE: done]
2) hire someone to clean windows at condo
3) get handyman referral for minor repairs needed at condo
4) assemble grill ...and get back-up (see previous 2 blogs for explanation)
5) start holiday shopping - you know, find thoughtful, nice gifts on sale now so I won't have to go crazy in late Nov and all of Dec
6) get shelves (in garage? some in basement...i think) for bookshelves to unpack all...8 - 10 boxes of books in livingroom... and 6 - 8 boxes of books in basement. [UPDATE: shelves found and retrieved from garage, not yet reinstalled in shelving unit]
7) take out garbage. it's raining. i have soggy cardboard outside (from grill). honestly, i don't want to deal with it now and plan on dealing with it in the morning.
8) pay bills!
9) confirm my mailing address has been changed at some bill-related companies... it doesn't do me any good to get the bill a week later (or longer) [UPDATE: fewer "forwarded" pieces of mail are arriving, weeding out the need to change addresses, which means I think I may have targeted most--hopefully all--accounts/companies]
10) grocery shop. but not when i'm hungry. when i have time. if possible, make a LIST and stick to it. Which means it would be a good idea to sort of, you know, PLAN which meals I want to make/eat during the week. there's a novel idea.
11) write 'faith story' for church membership class on Wed night. [UPDATE: done. may share portions at some point - it's not a testimony, more like a short journey through the church(s)]
12) change mailing address for student loans (DONE! Just got off the phone with them, and there will be NO PENALTY for early pay-off! SO...that means...once I sell my condo, I can pay off my students loans...and I'll be virtually debt free! WHOOO-HOOOOOOO! All Right! ...well, debt-free with the exception of the new house)
:)
