Someone found my blog with "rice krispy" birthday cake... my fellow baker, welcome :)
Was planning to be incredibly productive today, but after last night's garage door antics, didn't sleep soundly. Got up and was at the pottery studio by 9:30, worked until 12, came home, tried to organize... went on a masking-tape-hunt (I know there's some around here somewhere!!), got discouraged...
then took a *brief* nap. woke up over 3 hours later... maybe longer. I don't have clocks plugged in yet, so I rarely know what time it is unless I gaze at my cell phone or computer... anyway, I woke up fully rested and plan to do a few things before going to bed tonight at a reasonable time.
Now, I know I've said NO NAPS before. But...sometimes they're ok. ...like 20 - 40 minutes long. So this was a bad nap. ...so in the wee hours of the morning, when i can't sleep, I'll be thinking "oh, great. natural consequences for your choice eariler, there, rain" and such.
