There's a thermometer in my mouth. I'm trying to stay home from work again tomorrow. Please!??!! Just a slight fever, and I can stay home... won't have to face the world, can focus on the homefront so to speak...
The mold in the basement has turned into a huge project... needed to remove the built-in-bookshelf so I could assess the damage...which took about 2 hours. After removing the panneling, I realized there was mold on the wooden frame that holds the insulation between pannels and basement wall...
needless to day, it was a daunting day. Only had one major meltdown - while on the phone w/ my mother... who says she loves me unconditionaly, but... hopefully I'll stop trying to test that one of these days.
And, thankfully, an acquaintence/friend's father is a handyman, and he's agreed to come out tomorrow night and take a look... perhaps I won't need to gain admission into the Funny Farm just yet.
Ok. Right now the thermometer is just .4 degrees elevated. It's not mercury, but some other silvery substance that's environmentally friendly... and it takes longer to register temperatures. Hopefully it'll keep going up.
