FYI: i found an interesting fact - something for the next trivia night or water cooler conversation...
our eyes get puffy when we cry b/c emotional tears come from different tear ducts than the keep-eye-organ-moist tear ducts... the emotional tears are less salty than the others, thus when we cry for emotional reasons, the not-as-salty-tear is absorbed into the salty tissue of the eye and surrounding tissue, thus the 'puffy' appearance. it's true - i read it on the internet :)
