the intent of this entry is to be brief. however... as some have recently noted... i tend to blather. it's a real word. look it up.

too lazy to cook dinner. soup is in the microwave. there's nothing wrong with my diet. honest. the oreos for breakfast this morning? i planned that - on purpose.
was at work for 13 hours today... got there early. got home late. i'm tired.
ordered dave walker's book from amazon.com at the beginning of december. i'm still looking for the package to arrive...i love getting packages. that's why i order online sometimes. just so i can get the mail. dont' think it's been shipped yet - they recently had the holidaiy rush and all.
like bimble, i need to get a haircut. but unlike bimble, i don't use a comb. and i'm a girl.
have tentative plans with a good friend to exchange holiday gifts and hang out... but the thing is, i don't want to be social anytime soon. even as far ahead as this weekend. my house is a mess (havne't put away gifts yet, or stuff mom gave me to bring home), so i don't want to spend the weekend cleaning...i want to spend the weekend getting it more messy, because one needs to make messes to organize and go through things and really get this place whipped into shape. the thing is, i don't necessarily want this friend to see my hosue that way... so i'm not sure what to do. she kindof said her house wasn't the best place... and a coffeehouse isn't the ideal location to hang out and exchange gifts. suggestions?

[it needs a few more minutes... because i'm actually cooking it in the microwave... this isn't just a reheat job, ladies and gentlemen]
[now i have to wait for the soup to cool... it's too hot to eat - if you could only see the steam!]
I've recently started watching "ballykissangle" via dvd... and love it! do those of you in the UK like it too? (is it an old series? it's new to me. and someone suggested the vicar of dibley - we can only get up to the 3rd season at the moment, but i'll go ahead and start anyway)
[just burnt tongue. soup still hot. ...note to self: don't slurp hot soup]
ok, this is getting dangerous. i'll try to stick to my blog title...and follow maddie & aunt doris' lead and go to bed before midnight (it's actually only 9 my time, but before i know it it's quarter to one in the morning sometimes...last night i started and finished an entire book. mabye that's why i'm tired.)
