Rain fall? Only fell twice this year. Horray for me in 2006.
Crock pot recipes? Yes, get some ingredients, put them in the crock pot, then leave it cooking all day, then dinner is ready! helps to have some cream of chicken soup on hand - a few of the recipes I read recently list 'cream of chicken' as an ingredient.
