there are days when i just want to spend the entire day in my pajamas. today is one of those days. i'm not depressed. i'm not hiding from anything. i just don't want anything to do with other people... need to recharge my battery of sorts.
i'm planning to see a friend this afternoon - that reminds me, must remember to bring her christmas present. and wear a cute outfit. she's always dressed to the 9's. if we weren't meeting in public, i might wear the sweatshirt i wore to sleep in last night....seeing as how i want to stay in my pj's all day today.
yesterday's Indian food was a very fun experience. i had chicken t-something masalla (sp?)...one of the more mild dishes. it was fun. the conversation was good, although i wonder if i overstepped my bounds w/ my female coworker K - i wonder if i assumed too much familiarity with telling-of-stores. who knows. she's pretty flexible... sometimes i get skiddish with friendships b/c i've been dropped in the past, and i work with her on a daily basis, so... but i think things are ok. it was a fun exprience. D opened up a bit... and insisted on paying the entire bill, which we politely refused, but he insisted, so he got a big thank you. ...wonder if that's a guy thing? or perhaps it's unique to this culture? who knows. he's old enough to be both of our fathers... perhaps that's more of where it's coming from. anyway, it was a really nice gesture - planning and meeting for lunch... now i can say i've had and enjoy Indian food!
got a call from a real estate agent who wants to show my condo today. called her back, left a message. we'll play phone tag for a bit, then hopefully she'll show the condo, her people will love it, then i'll be able to sell it then pay off my debts! whoooo-hoo! (it only takes one person to change the trajectory of this property for sale...)
