found out that the heating/cooling man is a crook... he submitted the claim (which he never did the work) and he & I went around and 'round today... i'm working with my mother who knows about such things (heating/cooling, not being a crook) to figure out what to say to the insurance company. i've been a bit frazzled this afternoon/evening. zzzprt!
[p.s. no word yet on the personal project... it seems a bit more difficult than previously thought]
