hello everyone! i've been laying low recently... have little news, am exhausted so my creative juices aren't flowing [and i aim to please] ...so i'll just give you a bit of semi-entertainment -- for your viewing pleasure.
1) there are 4 eggs in the nest (not three, as i originally thought)
2) i'm attempting to play matchmaker for a friend and a old acquaintance... we'll see how it goes
3) am looking forward to mowing the lawn and doing other outside work around the house this afternoon
4) [edit] will be interviewing for a best friend in the near future - realize i don't have one, and think my life would be greatly enhanced by gaining one :)
5) am looking forward to wrapping up the academic year in a few weeks. there's much to do in little time, which is why i haven't been around much...
6) i love mail. if i were to choose another profession, postal worker has strong appeal. with the exception of junk mail... but i love getting fun stuff in the mail - you know, checks, cards, letters... not a huge fan of bills, but since i pay most of the online anyway i don't get as many these days.
7) wore my sunglasses into the grocery store yesterday... got lots of attention. they must have thought me to be a movie star - i certainly had the attitude...and entourage to go with it :)
8) and now i'm off to take a walk to the library... looking for a book. you know, something to read. i've read the books on my personal shelves about several times each - seeking an opportunity to read something new.
