day before yesterday, there were only *three* eggs. i swear there were four earlier in the week! and then yesterday, i saw only one egg... and two baby birds! they look like little aliens, eyes still shut & no feathers. the mama bird was very angry that i was peering at her babies through the window, but since i'm the one on the residency permit and i pay the property taxes, i think it's a-ok for me to take a peek now and then.
i'm anxious for egg #3 to hatch... will keep you posted.
