leather & seeds - the saga continues...

i've been looking at leather couches today. the reason is: fabrics hold lots of dust/mites/allergens, and leather is easy to clean, is sturdy, etc. Think about it - each and every time you plop down on the sofa, a plume of dust puffs up... except when you sit on a leather couch.

so now that i've defended myself againist all anti-leather-people out there, let me share this with you. [note: it's very long, but entertaining... it keeps going and going!]

i was actually considering one of their couch/loveseat/chair combinations... but alas, i will continue to do a very thorough search elsewhere before making any final (and expensive) decisions.

spent some time with my nieces today. and continued to clean my home... oh, and the washer dumped all of the soapy water on the floor (because I didn't make sure the tube was properly inserted into the other tube for proper tube-function-potential... all i heard was *splash*splash*...rumble-rumble-rumble...*splash*splash then it was too late)

we ate some watermelon. seedless. no seeds. it makes it nicer for eating watermelon. however, the Memorial Day Watermelon Seed Spitting Contest just isn't the same...
