Had the meeting about the kids club last night. Only a few weeks until we start it now. Was good to hear some of the different ideas people have for it, although the sheer amount of child protection rules and stuff is a bit daunting. I'm quite looking forward to it, although I'm not very confident that I'll actually be any good at it. I've done bits of youth work before, but only with nice middle class christian kids, not kids from an estate like this who've hardly ever been to church in their lives. We'll just have to see how it goes.
