Am currently in Amsterdam
General observations:
- Flying is the coolest thing ever
- Double decker trains are a really good idea
- They aren't kidding when they say how many bicycles there are here
- I don't know what those green birds were, but they looked like some sort of parakeet
- It ain't half windy here
Have been wandering round the city centre for most of the day. Really nice place, lots of character.
Went to the Anne Frank House earlier. Was quite moving to stand in the actual room where she wrote her diary, looking at the photos she stuck to the wall and stuff.
That was about the only thing I really wanted to see, so I don't know what I'll do with the rest of the time I'm here. Would be nice to find a church to go to tomorrow, but I can't seem to see one that would be suitable. Ah well.
