I so don't do the whole religion thing (as I'm sure I've said before), but cos I work for the church there are times I have to pretend to. We had a meeting this week which I 'chaired', to do with the youth and childrens work, and we started with a extended time of prayer led by one of the other leaders. We then prayed for all the leaders, helpers and children by name (about 70 or 80 people!), which was my suggestion. See, I don't get why I do things like suggest things like that when I think that prayer is utterly pointless and makes no difference. Hm.
