ECM (Every Child Matters) - child led / initiated learning, personalised BUT also every single second of time has to have a planned learning objective, with Success Critera.
SATs vs SLT vs APP vs no testing at all (but no one really knows which so lets just do them all).
SEN / Statented children in mainstream while raising the bar on minimum attainment levels / percentages achieving them.
SEN / Statented children in mainstream with reduced funding for classroom support for individuals needing it.
Teachers not meant to be doing admin / displays etc. TA's not meant to be doing admin / displays etc. Who is doing them then?
Reducing teachers' workload while expecting full plans, assessments, co-ordinator roles, individualised learning / targets etc etc. Evenings and weekends are solely meant for working.
Setting, teaching, giving time to practice, reviewing individual targets while also teaching a full class of children.
Specific PSHE / social / financial / citizenship / good rounded individual teaching and learning time, while allowing the correct amount of time for every single subject (which equates to way more than the amount of time in the week).
Lots of homework / no homework (depending on which parents you're talking to at the time).
Lots of rewards, no punishments.
