God is a puppeteer, sitting on his old armchair. Psalm 139:1-13 tells us that he's we're just puppets and that God has it all mapped out.
God created the world and used to be active. But now he's tired, he's lost his power. Humans have begun to overtake him with technology and so on, binding his hands, making it so that he can only attempt to continue his puppeting, with little success.
The world is full of natural and man-made-selfish crap.
