Alien and I had a lovely day in Bristol today. We went on The Matthew (and bought Socks a bottle of Matthew Beer!) and the boat next to it (which I can't remember the name of). We saw someone from church (rather random moment!). Then had lunch at the Arnolfini (very nice too!). Then we went via Millenium Square to the cathedral, and back to the station via the new shopping centre near Broadmead. [gallery] We got the bus to the docks and then walked the rest of the time, finally getting the bus from Broadmead back to the station (over 3 hours of walking is rather good for a 3 year old I think!). Alien will sleep so so well night, she's exhausted! One of the main reasons we went to Bristol was as part of a 'meet challenge' on The Ship. It being their 10th anniversary, someone decided it'd be fun to try and have 10 meets on the same day. Unfortunately, no-one but Alien and me made it to Bristol for the meet that had originally been planned!!! So it was a meet without meeting anyone!!
