It's perfectly normal to have sprouts with cheesy chips for tea isn't it?

I am most impressed with myself that I am cooking 'real' food for Alien. I don't think I'd really thought about how I would do food when she got to that point, but I'm finding it rather fun making food!! She's had one ready made pot when we were out once and weren't expecting to be (I keep and 'emergency' pot in the changing bag!). She had pasta with tomato and cheese sauce for lunch today, linconshire sausage with apple and beans and tattys yesterday, we have pots of 'Sunday roast' in the freezer, along with apple and pear with cinnamon, strawberries, mixed seasonal vegetables, various other random vegetables (like leek, red cabbage, carrot), chicken, beef, cheese sauce and lots more. I'm almost domesticated.

Despite the tooth appearing, I still seem to be doing a breastfeed each day. More like habit really.

We're staying in tomorrow, just the two of us (she'll obviously be asleep by then!) and I'm cooking. We're having salmon pate, followed by Steak in Portobello Port Sauce with seasonal roasted vegetables, and Socks Grans' recipe for pineapple cheesecake. If we have any room, we'll have cheese, biscuits and coffee. All of this will be homemade. Obviously there will be suitable wine to go with each course. Hopefully, we'll have some Canadian ice wine with the dessert (cos I like it!).

I seem to spend far too much time doing clothes washing. There's only three of us. Should there really be that much?!?!

It's a shame my domesticity doesn't run to cleaning the house too!

Blimey I'm getting middle aged.
