1. When trying to prize frozen pasta off a plate, don't use a knife. There's a strong chance it will slip and cut you and not even get the pasta off the plate.
2. When someone says 'be careful, there's glass on the floor', they usually mean 'be careful, there's glass on the floor', so it's a good idea to be careful otherwise you'll get cut.
(And a little aside... my cat loves watching football. He's totally engrossed in it. He's sat in front of the TV watching it. He's been there for nearly half an hour.)
