She wakes us up at 4am crying. It's so unusual for her to cry at night I get up quite quickly to go see if she's ok. She has a hug and seems fine. By this point I realise I got up too quickly and am about to faint. I quickly put her back down and turn the light off, at which point she screams again. Dilemma - leave screaming baby and go faint elsewhere or stay with baby. Better solution, scream for Daddy to come deal with baby while I go faint / feel sick elsewhere. Poor Daddy has similar dilemma - look after baby or mummy!
Anyway, she (and I) was fine and went back to sleep after chattering to herself for a while.
But consequently she didn't wake up at her usual 6.30ish and start chattering to herself. I did. And couldn't get back to sleep. Even when she still hadn't woken up by 7.30!
