Quality not quantity. Of course. So sorry to my faithful readers.
Ok, you want to know about the sick? Well, it's frequently been over me. Luckily it's mainly sick containing milk so it hasn't been too gross (apart from the smell). And it does disprove the theory that all sick has carrots in it, cos it hasn't (although the projectile did have a bit of leek in it). Is that enough, or do you need more detail?
I've just had lunch, with her asleep on me. Do you know how hard it is to eat a fairly solid tomato which is covered in salad cream, one handed? I really am rather impressed that she's not covered in it!
I am bored silly of her being ill now though. She's so clingy so I can't do anything. Bless. She's really feeling sorry for herself!
Mind you, it has made me appreciate how luckily we've been with her general temperament. I mentioned to a friend last night that she's been really clingy so I can't do anything, and she said, 'isn't that normal?' Evidently her little girl is always like that and doesn't 'do' independent!
It's also made me begin to think again about how difficult it must be for parents with really ill children (like, not just a one off bug) or single parents. I know thats a right generalisation, but I think they must be quite amazing people!
