What a wonderful day

This morning we had an all age communion. We had loads of visitors, way more than usual, and church was packed so the side aisles had to be used. It seemed a very 'friendly' and relaxed service. Even I enjoyed it, which is most unusual. The choir sang Mozarts Laudate Dominum as the anthem, and it seemed to go particularly well.

We had a lovely salady lunch, which we haven't done in ages.

I spent most of the afternoon playing with Alien, including playing in the garden.

This evening we had a choral Eucharist, which is quite unusual for us. We did Mozart 'sparrow' mass and Mozarts Laudate Dominum (again!). We had a special pipe organ thingy (it was something special, but I haven't a clue why or what made it special!) and 2 violins and a double bass. It was fantastic.

It's been a lovely day really.

I don't often think I sing well (even though others might) cos I tend to be quite perfectionist, but I was so pleased with all of the solos I did today. It's such a nice feeling. :D
