Ok, tell me the answer to this.
I applied for a teaching job. It was a music specialism and a Y3/4 class. I have lots of experience in both of these. I don't want to be in exactly the same job, but this one was a very small village school so there was an element of difference / challenge. I've done a small amount of supply in a village school.
I was longlisted, but not shortlisted, so rang to find out if there was any particular reason. I was told it was because I've only taught in larger schools.
So, tell me, how do I get experience of teaching in smaller schools if the smaller schools don't want to employ me because I don't have the experience?
