... I worked this arvo in one of the (many) schools that didn't want to employ me. I went expecting to teach reception (4/5 year olds) and taught y3/4 (7/8/9 year olds) instead. I rather enjoyed it. I really miss doing proper classroom teaching.
Went to docs this evening and (as expected! ;) ) you were all right. It is my achillies tendons. She says there's very little can be done about it, apart from rest and 'correct' footwear. So I guess I'll be putting up with the pain then. Cos I don't do 'rest' very well!!
