... I still went to school this morning.
I was rather pleased with how good the kids were. I spent all day writing messages on a whiteboard, and typing them onto the big whiteboard.
Tomorrow we're having 3 Powerpoint lessons!!! Still no voice.
One of the 4 year olds, on hearing I had no voice, asked how could I not have any voice. She couldn't understand it at all. I whispered that my voice had just gone, and she said, ' but you're whispering, its there really'. I left her to her wondering.
ETA: Yes, we had the story teller in. He brought his mandolin with him, and told us the story of Jason and the Argonauts (out topic is Ancient Greece). He was rather good and managed to keep the kids attention. He had a damn good memory too, I can never remember all those Greek names! Then he got them to draw one of the characters in the story. And he ended with a fun bit of hotseating. (Thanks for reminding me Birdie!!)
