Why is it that some people can't accept that at times things all go wrong at once. I spent an extended meeting minuting the gripes of someone who had been the unfortunate victim of a complete failure of technology.
I'm only supposed to work until a certain time but ever so I finished 30 minutes later than that. Even though I arrived late at work today because I was working this evening I still clocked up a cracking 11+ hours instead of 7. At least it wasn't 13 in the end. Oh well. I lose an hour and a half to cover yesterday - I left early so I'd be rested today and after all this I still only end up with about an an hour and a half due to statutory breaks.
I have my appraisal tomorrow. Third one since I started. It's all routine. What's annoying, in some ways is the ease of the job but the lack of variety. Even though I go to so many meetings a month, they all say the same things.
Tomorrow I have to type up my 6th and 7th sets of minutes. This week. At least people are happy with my work, I'm receiving praise and I'm not really struggling with the stress of the job, only the incident with my colleague.
