My brain would be dangerous if it worked! Having already had problems with letting agencies once this year, I don't want to end up in the same situation this time. Especially as I'm hoping to stay in the same place for years rather than months. Looking for letting agencies online I found a national association for such things. I had been aware of them but had forgotten about such things. Looking through the websites of the members was far, far more useful than my searches so far. I even know that if it goes wrong there is someone official I can whinge to. This, to me, all seems to be a very good idea. They even have advice on their website at http://www.arla.co.uk.
For the first time since starting searching, I've found somewhere I'm interested in, and it's towards the more sensible end of my price range. I'm hoping it's worth pursuing. It's also in Northfield, which I understand will be quite some time from where I will be working. If anyone has any ideas how long it takes to get from Northfield to Birmingham City Centre, please let me know.
