Things are going a little better now. My cough is almost gone, I've left my old job and started my new one and things seem to be going well. It's the first job I've been able to go into on the first day and get on with stuff without being told. That is related to the fact that I know more about what needs doing as part of this job and can continue doing it.
I've found somewhere to live but don't want to jinx it by talking about it too much so you'll have to wait until next week to find out more, but the letting agency did get in touch today to check that everything is still okay for the weekend. I've found a removal firm and sent an email to book it so am awaiting confirmation but it sounds promising.
I've been to 2 parties in the last week and they couldn't have been more different from one another. We had the Ann Summers party which was educational ;), then I went to a 30th Birthday party at the weekend. Why is it that good veggie restaurants seem to be hidden in random locations?
I am looking forward to going away this weekend too.
Anyway, I'm borrowing an internet connection so shouldn't be online too long...
