Still not fixed. I need to get some re-wiring done first. Now that explains why there are problems. I'm also willing to take bets on whether this is done!
At least the meter guy came round nice and early. He said he knew of the ongoing problems so would pop in early. As a result I went to the convent in a state of minor annoyance. I delivered the coffee as I had promised and fixed some computer problems so it wasn't an entirely wasted day.
On the positive side the broken window is going to be fixed tomorrow, sorry Jack. Although mine has been broken since at least the first week of November, and didn't have to be taken out.
Mum says that seeing as I want big things done to the flat I should make sure it looks good when the experts (including the landlord) visit. I'm not convinced, partly because I'm so cold and that's due to the meters not working properly.
Oh well.
