Bed at last

I took today off work in the knowledge that the bed was due to be delivered before 12. At 11.30 I was beginning to worry a little, then the phone rang. It was the driver, he didn't know the way! The courier didn't know the way to my flat! When he eventually arrived he said that the directions were spot on, not bad for a woman!

Thanks, so just to clarify he's sexist and incompetent. Just to make things a little worse, I went into the bathroom after the couriers (2 in total) had left. There was a nice little puddle around the toilet with muddy footprints across the floor! It was disgusting! Are they 3? They didn't even clear up or apologise. The floor has now been mopped. Oh the joy - it will be added to my letter of complaint!

Saying that, the bed is really comfy. I spent all afternoon testing it. When I was little I wanted to be a bed tester as a career.

So, once the letter is sent, that problem is sorted. About bloody time. I made a woman cry about it on Friday, then I cried. I know it's not much fun working in a call centre and I didn't mean to make her cry but her and her colleagues are just so incompetent. NOTE TO SELF: Try not to make customer service operatives cry!

I've chased up my broadband - it didn't get ordered, and I still need to write to my landlord about the heating. Then I still need to write to the people about my bank card which was a problem in November.

It is still reassuring to know I'm not the only person to be the victim of cr*p service - thanks Jack. I hope that once these are sorted, I will be fine for a while.

Believe it or not, it normally takes a lot to rile me on these things...
