... After the pains of the first night sleeping in a tent (The first night is always the worst), I headed to the site for a wander around, and then to catch a talk on Women in the Bible (It was great Veronica, if you happen to be reading, I think you were right to not include the story of the woman smashing a tent peg through the mans skull).

Then it was off to join Amanda in the queue for "The Rising", presented by Martyn Joseph this event ran each day and he interviewed several songwriters and they each played a few songs. This is where we had our first taste of Juliet Turner and Brian Houston.

There was a fair bit of just hanging around in the afternoon, drinking tea at the Tiny Tea tent (the tent is tiny, not the tea) and then seeing a little bit of Janey Lee Grace in the Performance cafe. Another meet up in the bar of Ship of Fools people then off to join the queue to see Brian Houston - who was supurb (we bought 2 of his CDs). We were planning on seeing Juliet Turner as well, but thousands of other people had the same idea so we decided to be sociable with people instead.

Again we went to the late night show with Steve Stockman, and relaxed and laughed, then met a few people after but needed sleep more than we wanted to chat to people!
