We met Amanda's friend Claire in a coffee shop in the morning, then had a general wander around London. Decided it might be fun to ride on the Docklands railway and go to canary wharf, which it was - mind you, there is nothing there other than tall buildings, so caught the next train back. We did get to sit right at the front though, which made it feel rather rollercoaster like!
In the afternoon we wandered Oxford Street, and bought very little (money low...eeek), and then in the evening we had a lovely Curry on Church Street, then went to a pub (after going into another pub first and them trying to get us to stay but us not wanting to stay ... it was very confusing, and ended up with one of the staff running after us begging for us to have a drink).
