... Just saw that Ned Sherrin has died, I used to enjoy listening to him on a Saturday evening (usually while I was in the bath getting ready to go out) and he introduced me to all sorts of things I would never otherwise have heard, and also greats like John Shuttleworth and Eliza Carthy. A very sad passing.
Great Grand prix this weekend, I got up at 4.30am and thought the race was never going to get underway, but when it did it was one of the best of the season, and looks like we are going to have a British world champion, Go Lewis!

Went to see a film preview on sunday of And when did you last see your father. It was not bad, but it was not good either, felt a bit like an ITV drama and out of place on the big screen. Also far too many flashbacks, including at one point a flashback within a flashback - that is a step too far for me.
On Sunday we enjoyed Michael Palins New Europe on the TV, or as we call it Michael Palin drinks and womanizes his way around the New Europe...
