I was going to start a wiblog series called "The 12 days of Christmas", but two things set me back.
The first was the crash of the wiblogs over the weekend ("Black Saturday and Sunday and a bit of Monday" as it will no doubt be known as in the future).
The second was my own stupidity, The twelfth day of Christmas had no partridges at all in it, so why did I think it did? ...and why was I counting backwards anyway ...and the twelve days are after Christmas, not before it.
So I think I will abandon the whole idea and just talk about pies for a while.
