...Walking home I saw an amazing sight.
Literally thousands of birds were flying around in a huge flock (swarm would be a better word), creating patterns in the sky that reminded me of pictures I have seen of the Northen Lights, at points the sky was black with them. Several people had stopped walking (as had I) and were staring up at them.
It was at this point I head a "plop, plop, plop" sound, and realised I was standing in a shower of bird poo. It rather ruined a beautiful moment really.
(I got plopped on twice, by the way)
