...Yes, I know Greenbelt did not start until the Friday, but for a few of us we started early. For the second year I camped near the site the night before with some friends and had a GB warm-up, mainly involving a pub, some beer and some food. After long discussions about what a "basket meal" might be we were brave enough to order. only to discover that it was a (fake) basket with a (real) meal contained within it.
That night it poured, and blew, and poured and blew - leaving us with a pile of soggy tents to transport to Greenbelt the next day. Luckily only the outside of my tent got wet (the tent has been visiting festivals faithfully since the early 90's) so all was well...
