Greenbelt Report - Friday

...Arrived at the campsite at about 10am, only to have to wait for an hour or so for the site to open. we were directed to a new camping area up on the hill - at first I think we were a bit dissapointed to be out of the main camping area - but the advantages soon became clear. Hardly anyone was up there so we had loads of space, and also it was no further from the main site than where we had been previous years. Add to that a nice view and it was a nice place to set a tent!

After putting tents and flagpoles up it was time for a potter to the main site, and more specifically to the Bar to meet my friends from the Ship of Fools website. Then off to help someone put their tent up, and back to catch snippets of the Handsome Family and Lambchop on the main stage. The rest of the evening was spent in the Bar or the wonderful Tiny Tea Tent just catching up with people (you will see a theme emerging...).
