...Another of my DAB radios needed replacing today, much as i love the things they dont seem to last more than 6 months. At least they replace each one with a brand new one for no extra cost each time. I have had Phillips, Pure evoke, and Grundig Opus all do wrong on me so far. Got a Matsui one now (really just a grundig with silver bits), lets see how it lasts.
Have been jealous watching Glasto on the TV, but I have some good things planned, Greenbelt, Wiscombe Hill climb, camping, and perhaps Trowbridge folk festival and also the British touring car championship. I shouldn't complain!
Why are BBC2 just showing the same few bands over and over? So much good music there and all we have seen is White Stripes and the Killers. New music like MIA got a small look in, and Eliza did a token folk slot last night. but come on, promote the good new British bands!
