Great time down in Cornwall, after finally getting down there on Friday night after being stuck fpr an hour on the A30 at Bodmin I found my parents caravan, and my dad promptly took me to the bar for a pint, which is what I needed after a 3 hour drive (a third of that not moving). Seaview is a lovely site overlooking Kennack sands, and the beach not more than 15 minutes walk away is a lovely sandy and quiet beach with just 2 small places to buy snacks and (Rockelly) ice creams from.
Saturday was spent walking from Kynance Cove , right around the Lizard point (where we saw several seals) around to The new Lizard lifeboat station..
That evening went for a meal and then saw the full moon looking brighter and clearer than ever though some powerful binoculars, amazing how you could see the light and dark spots so clearly. Today just walked to the beach then drove home. Considered taking a few sick days and staying there... but obviously I didn't!
