...Had a bit of a wander around the area I am moving to, apart from the pubs mentioned there is Cafe Sozo within minutes walk, A couple newsagents, a fruit shop, a Chinese takeaway a discount beer shop (You know the sort, just out of date cans and bottles...) and many small and menacingly dark lanes. In fact there is a million time more things within 2 minutes walk than the surrounding mile where I live now!
Things are starting to look more promising on the getting things into boxes front, and I had fun with a hammer on Saturday demolishing several damp and rotten rabbit hutches.
My book reading is totally behind, a resolution broken it seems, there is no way I am going to catch up again now!
