... Parts of the DWP are on strike tomorrow and Friday, after the last few years the novelty has worn off and most people in this office don't seem to know what the strike is about. No doubt I will have to cross a small picket line tomorrow morning but expect the day to run much as normal. I wonder if the strike will even make the news? I guess it may if any Jobcentres have to close for the period, or if peoples benefits get delayed.
Went to see Memoirs of a Geisha on Monday, it had good bits and bad bits, lacked soul and atmosphere, but was a good story. I am pretty ambivilent about the film really, it was quite nice but it won't change my life.
