...Ivonne discovered last night that Xfm has appeared on our digital radios in Exeter, which is very exciting. It has replaced the entirely pointless Storm Radio, which I won't be sad to see go.
Now in the Exeter area both BBC6Music and the oh-so-bland Virgin have a real competitor on Digital. Xfm is fresh, contemporary, and cutting edge with regards to new music and varied. From a brief listen last night (so that's where Claire Sturgess went...) there don't seem to be too many adverts, and even the overnight presenters seem to love music (unlike the celebrity obsessed Chris Hawkins on 6).
Now Digital radio just needs another Classical station, something Jazzy and a country station to provide some sort of musical variety.
