...according to Google I am one of the top 30 Neils in the UK! Hooray for that.

Apart from myself (I am a great fan) here are my ten favourite Neils on the list.

Neil Gaiman - I am sure many of you know and love this Neil, he is an author, and with Terry Pratchett wrote the fantastic Good Omens, as well as lots of comics (or graphic novels, as I think is the grown up name). I also seem to remember he wrote a book about cats once, but that may have been the other guy...

Neil Turner - He is a student at the University of Bradford. He is 22 and ate his first Big Mac today. Interestingly I am 28 and ate my last Macdonald's meal when I was 19.

Neil Young - He is an ever so famous singer and has his own CD and everything. He has some friends called Crosby, Stiils and Nash. I think they run a solicitors.

Neil Arksey - He writes books for young teenagers about sports and things. The characters are called things likes Brooksie, Flinty and Banksie. I suspect his name is really Neil Ark.

Neil Blake - He is spotting car licence plate numbers from 1 all the way up to 999. In consecutive order. Good luck mate.

Neil Shephard - He is by far the smartest of all the Neils. He is a Professor of Economics and has a paper published about econometrics of testing for jumps in financial economics using bipower variation. I am glad someone has finally got around to it! He is a professional fellow. I can't even begin to imagine what on earth that means, is there any chance I could become a full time professional bloke?

Neil Strickland - This Neil looks really familiar, but I can't work out why. He is a Pure Mathematician, I think that is just the official title for a geek?

Neil Oughton - He is the same age as me, but enjoys House music and vodka, so I doubt we would have much in common. He is the second Neil on the list to eat large burgers.

Neil Armstrong - He flew into space to find out if the moon was made from cheese. His conclusions led us to believe that it probably is, and now we need to go back to find out what sort of cheese.

Neil Lawrence - This Neil looks just like Paul Merton, but just a bit younger, thinner and smarter.

I hope you enjoyed this tour of Neils - Coming soon - The top 10 Denhams.
