... Finally got around to seeing Children of Men last night. Certainly the first half I really liked, set in 2027 the details are brilliant, the fact the cars look futuristic, but not overly so, and are still battered, although have fancy screens in them. Although the film rarely rises much above "bleak", by the second half it is well below bleak, and I suggest you don't see it before going to a party. Good film though, but I am fine if I never see it again!
