...Went to see the film The Queen again this evening, as Ivonne had not yet seen it. I enjoyed it enough the second time, although i still don't think it is a masterpiece in any way. Interesting day to watch it though, the first caption you see says "May 2nd 1997", this day 10 years ago. It seems it was the eve of Tony Blair coming to power, and the film develops from that point.
Again we are on the eve of an election, not such a major one perhaps, but I still get the feeling that Blair will choose these next few days to hand power over to Gordon Brown, who I have still not decided if I like or not.
Anyway, Local elections tomorrow. If you are eligible to vote don't forget to do so! I have put my polling card by my bed so that it is the first thing I see when I wake up.
