...I have voted today, half hour after the polls opened (I am so keen...) I won't tell you who I voted for, but just as a clue is was not the UKIP ;)

Voting for our part of the ward in in a lovely old building called Bowhill House, an English Heritage managed site with a history going back to 1490. It is not often open to the public, so it was interesting to be in there. The main polling booth was in a chapel like building with restored wooden beams, and the people doing the counting and checking were sat in what looked like a small cloisters. I decided not to take pictures of the inside, as I am not sure what the rules are regarding polling stations and photos!
